About the Concert

Festival audiences can look forward to a reunion with star violinist Anne-Sophie Mutter, who will once again provide a stellar musical experience with her Mutter's Virtuosi at the Kulturpalast. As a committed promoter of young talent, she passes on her wealth of experience to the young generation of musicians. The celebrated violinist regularly tours with the ensemble, which was founded in 2011 and is made up of current and former scholarship holders. In addition to Bach's famous A minor Violin Concerto and the Third Brandenburg Concerto, the programme also includes two works by the composers and violinists Veracini and Bologne, who are less well-known today but were famous in their time, as well as a composition by Anne-Sophie Mutter's late husband, André Previn.
