About the Concert
Anton Bruckner was a gifted organist and remained attached to the instrument even when he wrote almost only symphonies. So it is no wonder that one notices in his symphonies that their composer "thought from the organ". But the reverse is also true: When the symphonies return to the organ in arrangements. Hansjörg Albrecht has already made a name for himself in this field, and in this concert he will show how effectively Bruckner's Third Symphony can sound on a concert hall organ.
