About the Concert
Turbulent jungle action about friendships that overcome boundaries: The jungle comes to life in the energetic musical "Jungle Book". Mowgli and his animal friends take young and old on an adventurous journey. Specially composed musical hits, lots of excitement and humour ensure an entertaining live experience for the whole family!
With a big heart and a lot of spirit, the Liberi Theatre re-stages Rudyard Kipling's timeless bestseller about the brave foundling and Jungle Book favourite Baloo. An impressive stage set, colourful costumes and highly trained musical actors breathe life into the jungle. Musically, the audience is offered a lot: a grooving gang of monkeys, Shir Khan as the king of rock 'n' roll and a funky finale - rounded off by fast-paced choreography.
For over a hundred years, the story of the foundling Mowgli has fascinated entire generations. In the wolf pack around leader Akela, the kind-hearted bear Baloo and the wise panther Bagheera, Mowgli has found a new family who teach him the laws of the jungle. Exciting and great adventures lie ahead, for Mowgli meets not only a wild gang of monkeys, but also mischievous vultures and the mysterious snake Kaa. But the jungle also holds dangers: The tiger Shir Khan fears his position as king of the jungle and wants to drive the human child away. Mowgli begins to wonder where he actually belongs. And when he meets the girl with the red flower, his world is turned upside down...
