About the Concert
After the premiere in the Berlin Cathedral last year, which was enthusiastically celebrated by the audience, Sebastian Koch will now go on a Christmas tour through Germany with the fabulous Christmas reading "Und lauscht hinaus den weißen Wegen". Sebastian Koch will lead the audience into the Christmas season with contemplation and musical accompaniment. The actor will read the various texts, Christmas letters and wish lists from Rilke to Eichendorff in a humorous, touching and empathetic way with his unique voice; it is a selection of his favourite Christmas stories.
He is musically accompanied by choirs or musicians who are well-known in the regional venues.
Koch is one of the most internationally sought-after German actors of his generation. After several stage engagements, he was chosen in 2002 for the title role of

In the US series "Homeland" he played the German entrepreneur Otto Düring in several seasons. After its premiere at the Venice International Film Festival in autumn 2018, the film "Werk ohne Autor" gained great international attention and was nominated several times at the Oscars and Golden Globes. Most recently, Sebastian Koch was in front of the camera for the German-Austrian thriller series "Euer Ehren", which will be broadcast in 2022.
