About the Concert

A thousand lakes and vast forests. That's how one imagines Finland, and that's also how the music of the great Finn Jean Sibelius is supposed to sound - many say and think. But is that true at all? What about music can sound like a landscape at all? Or is it possible that we have the wrong film playing in our "head cinema" to the beautiful sounds?  In any case, Sibelius composed large parts of his Second Symphony in warm, sun-drenched Italy. So Malte and Phili have to make quite an effort to find answers to these difficult questions. But maybe they will get help from the Norwegian conductor Tabita Berglund?
