SMOKIE - The Legacy Tour 2023
After the great success and sensational concerts of this year's tour the British
the British success band SMOKIE will come back to Germany for some selected concerts in September and October 2023 for their "Legacy Tour" due to the great demand and the consistently positive feedback of the fans!
Songs like "If You Think You Know How To Love Me", "Don't Play Your Rock'n'Roll To Me", "It's Your Life" , "Needles & Pins" or "Oh Carol" (all Top-10-Hits) became permanent radio hits and still inspire fans all over the world.
If you look at the "Guinness Book of Hit Singles", you might think that Smokie's success story was a phenomenon of the 70s.
After all, 11 of their 14 hits came from that eventful decade of music.
However, Smokie are a band that celebrated sold-out tours and platinum records in four decades - the '70s, '80s, '90s and even today - even in Scandinavia, South Africa and even China.
With Pete Lincoln (known from Sweet/Sailor/Frontm3n) they were able to win an exceptional singer and outstanding frontman who, in addition to his musical qualities, also brings an enormous joy in playing. Luke Bullard, son of keyboardist Martin Bullard, follows in Terry's footsteps on bass and background vocals.
