Anna Shevchenko

Anastasia Shevchenko is a yoga teacher, founder of the Berlin Yoga Conference and developer of the Inner Core Yoga method.

After Kiev-born Anastasia Shevchenko moved to Vancouver, Canada with her family at the age of 14, she began practicing Hatha Yoga. She intensively studied Eastern wisdom teachings and self-healing powers, which can be used, for example, to treat scoliosis. When she was 19 years old, yoga also helped her recover from a serious skiing accident.

In 2013, Anastasia Shevchenko completed yoga studies in the tradition of the Bihar School in Thailand. She continued her training in the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga School and completed her training in Berlin under the guidance of Grischa Steffin, a student of Richard Freeman. Shevchenko supplemented her Ashtanga studies with Berlin master Andrea Lutz. Today she practices and teaches the method she developed herself: Inner Core Yoga.

Anastasia Shevchenko has organized numerous yoga events, workshops and festivals in Berlin. In 2019, she founded the Berlin Yoga Conference and organized the first series of events. More than 600 yogis from all over the world came to Berlin to attend four days of lectures and workshops. The global pandemic prevented further physical events, but Anastasia Shevchenko has continued to organize and host yoga events on various platforms in the digital realm.
