Biographies

Agnė Gečaitė

Agnė Gečaitė was born in Tauragė in 2005 and discovered her passion for the violin at the age of five with Liana Bagdonienė at the local music school. From 2017 to 2019, she continued her studies at the M. K. Čiurlionis National Art School in Vilnius, where she was taught by Ingrida Armonaitė-Galinienė. In 2019, Agnė Gečaitė was accepted to the Saxon State Grammar School for Music Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden and has been taking lessons with Wolfgang Hentrich ever since.

Fördervereins-Orchester der Dresdner Philharmonie

The Dresden Philharmonic Friends' Orchestra was founded in 2002 on the initiative of concertmaster Prof. Wolfgang Hentrich, who is also the artistic director. The orchestra, made up of members of the Dresden Philharmonic Friends' Association, represents a particularly intensive connection between supporters and members of the Dresden Philharmonic and is probably unique in the German orchestral landscape.

Guido Titze

Deputy Solo Oboist

Prof. Guido Titze was born in Cottbus, where he also received his first musical lessons in recorder, oboe, piano and composition. From 1976 to 1982 he studied at the Dresden Academy of Music with Andreas Lorenz (oboe) and Siegfried Kurz (composition).
