Armenian Soprano Lilit Davtyan is a graduate of the Yerevan State Conservatory. Upon graduation, she took part in the Bolshoi Theatre Young Artists Opera Programme from 2021 to 2023.
Recent highlights include participating in the Salzburg Festspiele’s Young Singers Project for their 2023 season. With them, she performed the roles Der Lehnstuhl, Die Prinzessin and Die Fledermaus in Ravel’s "L’Enfant et les sortileges", and took part as a soloist in the Herbert von Karajan Young Conductors Award, performing under the baton of the first prize winner, Hankyeol Yoon. In the summer of 2024, she was a Resident Artist at Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.
In the 2025/26 season, Lilit Davytan will continue to feature in the Deutsche Oper Berlin ensemble, appearing in "Carmen", "Rigoletto", "Elektra" and "Don Carlo", among others. She will also revive her roles as Pamina in "Die Zauberflöte" and Susanna in "Die Hochzeit des Figaro". In recent years she featured as a soprano soloist in a concert with the Orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin in Musikfest Berlin, and debuted with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as a soprano soloist in their performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 4.
