Tom Wlaschiha

The theater and film actor and dubbing artist Tom Wlaschiha comes from Saxony. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, he spent a year in America, where he discovered his love for the stage, and later studied at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig. He then became a permanent member of the ensemble at the Theater Junge Generation (tjg) in Dresden and performed at renowned theaters throughout Germany and Switzerland – from the Volksbühne Berlin to the Schauspielhaus Zürich, where he mostly appeared in classics by Schiller, Shakespeare, and Chekhov.

At the end of the 1990s, he shot his first television series and films, first in Germany and later internationally. He was cast as Jaqen H'ghar in the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones", which brought him international fame. In the fourth season of the series "Stranger Things", he appeared as prison guard Dmitri Antonov. His filmography is constantly growing.

Tom Wlaschiha speaks six languages (German, English, French, Russian, Spanish, and Italian) and is active as a voice actor for radio plays, audiobooks, and commercials. In 2025, he hosted the 100th anniversary of the Dresden Opera Ball at the Semperoper,

where his uncle, baritone Ekkehard Wlaschiha, once enjoyed great success.
