About the Concert

Tickets for these and other events will go on sale on 21 JUNE, as will election tickets for the coming season.

Cameron Carpenter's goal is nothing less than to completely revolutionise organ playing and to bring the organ out of its niche existence. He not only shines with perfect finger and pedal technique and unusual interpretations, but also loves the unconventional in his appearance: He likes to style himself with creative haircuts and thus looks a bit like a Nigel Kennedy of the organ scene. He has become known, among other things, for his "travelling organ", with which he has also recorded the Bach works that he plays in this concert. But now not on his International Touring Organ, but on the versatile organ in the Kulturpalast.

At the invitation of the Dresden Philharmonic
