Biographies

Eckehard Stier

German conductor Eckehard Stier is known for his stylistic versatility and compelling artistic vision. After seven years as Music Director of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, he is currently Principal Guest Conductor of the historic Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, Sicily. His musical theatre repertoire includes over 90 works, and he has conducted more than 80 orchestras worldwide.
