About the Concert

The success story continues! The fourth year at Hogwarts means big changes: Harry Potter and his friends must face previously unforeseen challenges. After the first three adventures, in January 2026, the fourth part "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" will also be experienced on the big screen at the Kulturpalast. The movie with a large live orchestra While the Dresden Philharmonic performs the film music by Patrick Doyle note for note and perfectly synchronized with the film, the audience can experience in this unique multimedia event the challenges that the new school year brings. Harry Potter represents Hogwarts at the Triwizard Tournament, a nerve-wracking competition between three wizarding schools. Benjamin Pope

Conductor

Conductor, composer and arranger Benjamin Pope has already conducted in concert halls and opera houses around the world. He specializes in ballet and dance music, as well as live accompaniment of films and film sequences. John Williams and Disney have officially recognized him as the conductor of the iconic "Star Wars" music. He is also committed to music education, including as principal conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's education program "RPO Resound".
