About the Concert

The Kiev Grand Ballet from Ukraine has been one of the most successful touring ensembles in the international ballet world for years. Due to the outbreak of war, the ballet company was "stranded" in Paris in February 2022. Solidarity actions then ensured tours through various European and American countries. In January 2023, the Kiev Grand Ballet visited Germany and Switzerland for the first time. The excellent ballet dancers will return in January 2024 with the ballet classic "Swan Lake". The tour schedule will then once again include cities such as Berlin, Dresden, Freiburg, Leipzig, Basel and Zurich.  
The ballet ensemble from the capital of Ukraine continues its European tour and makes its second guest appearance in Germany and Switzerland in 2024. Under the direction of Alexander Stoyanov, the company presents classical ballet art in its purest form.
