About the Concert
Between classical music and electronica, hardly any name is mentioned as often as that of pianist, composer and producer Nils Frahm. With atmospheric urgency, the artist manages to surprise again and again and to further develop his sound collages. His unconventional approach to the centuries-old instrument has won Nils Frahm countless fans worldwide.
Since his breakthrough album "Felt" in 2011, Nils Frahm's career has been on a steep upward trajectory - various releases, some solo, some with musicians like F.S. Blumm, Woodkid or Anne Müller, the celebrated soundtrack for the film "Victoria" and hundreds of sold-out shows in prestigious venues like the Sydney Opera House or Brooklyn Steel in New York.
His last album "Music For Animals" was written as a meditative work during the pandemic. With a playing time of more than three hours, it convinced fans and critics alike and can be understood as a counter-draft to the fast-paced streaming industry.
