phil zu entdecken … im musikalischen Zoo

About the Concert

This time it's going to be "animalistic" at the Kulturpalast – almost like in a zoo. First, with Darius Milhaud's lively Brazilian rhythms, there is an ox on the roof ("Le bœuf sur le toit"). Then we move on to the lions and chickens, the donkey and the turtles, then to the swan, and finally to the fossils and the aquarium. With his "Carnival of the Animals," the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns has designed a colorful game for the whole family, combining funny and thoughtful melodies. But there is also a lot of musical irony involved, as Malte will show. Laughter is allowed. Absolutely!
