About the Concert

Yellow + blue = green. We all know this from painting: When two colors are mixed together, a new third is created. Malte will show that this also works with sounds and tones with the "Atmosphères" by György Ligeti - a work that is over 60 years old but still very modern. I wonder what Phili, the curious little earth girl, will say about it. Anders Hillborg's new concerto is quite virtuosic, with the viola taking over the solo part - an instrument that always sounds somewhat dark and melancholy, but for that very reason appeals to the heart and soul. So once again there is "phil to discover".

Malte Arkona

Malte Arkona is known to a wide audience as an actor, dubbing artist and TV presenter. He has proven that he is a true master of vocal acrobatics in the radio play for the ARD series Babylon Berlin and in the dubbing of the series Modern Family (Prof. Arvin Fennerman), among others. As host of the popular shows Tigerenten Club and Die beste Klasse Deutschlands he became popular with young and old.

Victoria Esper

Victoria Esper brings the meerkat Phili to life with her voice at our family concerts. She enjoys stimulating the children's imagination and, together with Malte Arkona and the Dresden Philharmonic, contributing to a lively music education. Her CV includes a Master's degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York and various performances as a singer, actress, presenter and speaker at home and abroad.
