About the Concert
"Summer, sun, vacation time" - Summer is finally here! Together with young artists from the Saxon State High School of Music, the Dresden Philharmonic Children's Choir goes in search of summer songs from all over the world. The sun is shining from the sky, beckoning us out into the green fields, beckoning us out to the meadows where flowers bloom colorfully. Songs from near and far countries tell exciting stories and get us in the mood for summer vacation. Old, well-known, but also new and unknown melodies make the hall resound and certainly invite you to sing along - because: singing together makes joy and good mood.
