About the Concert

When the trumpets, horns, trombones and tuba really get going in the large orchestra, there's no stopping them - it gets loud in the hall! But even when there are only five of them, these brass instruments are impressive, not so much because of their volume, but because they can be heard surprisingly quietly and above all in a wide variety of sounds. In this concert, the brass players cover a whole musical palette that leaves nothing to be desired, from a Bach chorale to an arrangement of Bernstein's "West Side Story".
