Faraway Paradises

Further. Warmer. Brighter. Sometimes it calls us away.

Our faraway paradises open up soundscapes where longing takes flight. Music becomes a journey across glittering seas, through shimmering heat, into unknown worlds. It tells of departure and discovery, but also of homesickness, the unfamiliar, and the courage to face the unknown.

These concerts invite us to dream and drift away, to pause between palm trees and starry skies. Wanderlust resonates here, as does the quiet risk of setting out — the inkling that distance is not only a promise, but also a challenge.

Distance, Departure, Horizons

In Dvořák’s Ninth Symphony, the winds of the "New World" seem to blow: it resonates with longing and a thirst for discovery, with vastness and homesickness. Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 3 carries memories of home and, at the same time, the experience of being a stranger. It is music between melancholy and restlessness, between inner landscapes and urban energy.

Big City Lights, Rhythm, Urban Energy

Finally, "City Lights" takes us straight into the heart of the city. Here boulevards shimmer, traffic rushes by, and cultures, rhythms and stories collide. Music becomes a vibrant, dazzling reflection of life in the world’s great cities.

This evening invites wanderlust and curiosity, a sense of wonder, and the urge to keep setting out on new journeys again and again.
