About the Concert

He is a social media star, with almost 1.4 million subscribers to his YouTube channel, Cateen. His self-created variations on the well-known children's song "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" have been viewed approximately eleven million times. His recipe for success? Hayato Sumino - Cateen combines his piano skills with a tremendous joy for experimenting. He also composes his own music, which he will showcase with the premiere of a new piece at our event. The Japanese artist, currently living in New York, shares his love for American classics by performing Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," a piece in which he has previously incorporated his own improvisations in other concerts. The orchestra will continue the theme with the "Symphonic Dances" from the legendary West Side Story, and will pull out all the stops for the opening piece of this spectacular evening.
