Agnė Gečaitė was born in Tauragė in 2005 and discovered her passion for the violin at the age of five with Liana Bagdonienė at the local music school. From 2017 to 2019, she continued her studies at the M. K. Čiurlionis National Art School in Vilnius, where she was taught by Ingrida Armonaitė-Galinienė. In 2019, Agnė Gečaitė was accepted to the Saxon State Grammar School for Music Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden and has been taking lessons with Wolfgang Hentrich ever since.
Agnė Gečaitė has successfully participated in six festivals, nine national and twelve international competitions, where she has received awards. She has had the opportunity to perform with eight different orchestras and has given concerts in Lithuania, Germany, France, England, Russia and Georgia. Agnė Gečaitė has taken part in masterclasses with Julia Fischer, Sergey Krylov, Jurgis Dvarionas and Sergey Girshenko.
From 2015 to 2019, Agnėčaitė was a protégé of the Mstislav Rostropovich Charity and Support Fund ‘Help for Lithuanian Children’ in Lithuania.
