Aleksandra Varaksina began her musical education in her hometown of Usolye Sibirskoye, Russia, where she participated in several regional youth orchestra projects under the direction of pianist Dennis Matsuev. From 2011 to 2015, she was a student at the Irkutsk Musical College before joining Sergey Ostrovsky's class at the Haute École de Musique de Neuchâtel in Switzerland in 2016. There she completed her Bachelor's degree in 2019 and was awarded the Marc Schwok Prize for the best violin recital. In 2021 she completed her Master in Performance in Neuchâtel and became a member of the Kurt Masur Academy - Orchestra Academy of the Dresden Philharmonic. Aleksandra Varaksina was concertmaster of the Sinfonietta de Genève (2019-2020) and a member of the orchestra Les solistes de Neuchâtel. She has performed at the Academia Internacional de Música de Solsona (Spain, 2018, 2019), the Festival Pablo Casals (France, 2021) and the Keshet Eilon Music Center (Israel, 2020-2021), among others.
