Andreas Jainz, born in 1972, took his first trumpet lessons at the age of 8 and gained orchestral experience in the wind orchestra of his grandfather Siegfried Korla.
From 1988 to 1994 he studied trumpet with Prof. Peter Michael Krämer at the Leipzig Academy of Music.
Andreas Jainz was principal trumpet at the Halle Opera, at the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra Chemnitz and since 2000 with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
