Anton Schultze grew up in Dresden and began playing the horn at the age of 5 at the
Heinrich Schütz Conservatory with Andreas Roth. At the age of 9, he was introduced to orchestral playing by Milko Kersten
first introduced to orchestral playing by Milko Kersten and subsequently played in various
youth orchestras such as the DJSO, the LJO Sachsen and the Bundesjugendorchester.
After graduating from high school, he joined Robinson Wappler at the Schloss Belvedere music high school in Weimar.
Weimar and then studied in Berlin and Würzburg with Prof. Christian-Friedrich Dallmann and
Prof. Sibylle Mahni. During his studies, Anton made guest appearances with the Konzerthausorchester
Berlin, the Munich Chamber Orchestra and the WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne.
He was also a scholarship holder of the Bavarian State Orchestra's Orchestra Academy from 2017-2019.

Since the 2022/2023 season, Anton has been principal horn of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the
Hanseatic City of Lübeck and is also a member of the independent chamber orchestra "ensemble reflektor".
