Antoni Staniec is a tenor and is studying at the Berlin University of the Arts. Born in Kraków, he grew up in Częstochowa and Schwedt/Oder, where he received his initial musical training at the J. A. P. Schulz Music School before embarking on a course in arts education in Berlin.
Among his formative stage experiences is the portrayal of the title role in the monologue opera *The Little Prince* in Schwedt/Oder. He is a prize-winner of the *Jugend musiziert* competition. As a lieder singer, he is part of the Berlin-based duo “Gable & Staniec”, with whom he regularly develops and performs chamber music programmes. He also performed at the Zoom-Focus Festival, where he sang in two world premieres with orchestra.
Alongside his artistic work, he is active as a dedicated vocal coach. He has also gained practical experience through internships at opera houses in New York City, Paris and Berlin. He gives workshops and teaches regularly on an international basis. In 2026, he launched the “Giuditta Pasta Academy”, a place for young opera singers to learn more about the tradition and history of the art of singing, as well as to perform rarely staged operas by “Bel Canto” composers.
