in the orchestra since 2011

Björn Kadenbach received his first trumpet lessons in Helmstedt with Gheorghe Herdeanu. After graduating from high school, he started as a junior student with Matthias Höfs in Hamburg, where he studied fully from 2003.  

During his studies, an Erasmus year took him to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and to the Oslo Conservatory. He owes further important inspiration to Tobias Füller and Malte Burba.

He was supported by the Masefield Scholarship of the Alfred-Töpfer Foundation F.V.S. and a scholarship of the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation.

After appointments with the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, Björn Kadenbach has been a member of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra since 2011.
