Carley Marholin received her BFA from Long Island University Brooklyn, NY, and further trained at the Ailey and Martha Graham Schools. While in New York, she performed and toured as a member of Abarukas and CRDance companies, in a production by Akram Khan at the Shed NY, with the Martha Graham Dance Company, Graham II, and the Steps Ensemble. Since relocating to Berlin, she has performed as a guest in productions at the Berlin Philharmonie, the Staatsoper Berlin Unter den Linden, Semperoper Dresden, and Landesbühnen Sachsen, as well as in various projects with independent creators in the freelance scene. She co-founded the music-dance ensemble ‘falsch gmbh’, with whom she has choreographed, produced, and performed in several works in Berlin and Europe. In addition, she has choreographed two dance-theater productions for young students in Falkensee, Germany.
