Born in Königs Wusterhausen, the artist Claudia Reh studied landscape architecture in Dresden from 1990, graduating with a diploma in 1996. Until 2006, she worked as a freelance artist and landscape architect, creating works on canvas and paper as well as objects and installations in public spaces.
Since 2006, she has devoted herself exclusively to art and, under her own label "Echtzeitlicht", develops light graphics and live painting as performative formats. Her light installations and performances are shown internationally, including at the Amsterdam Light Festival, the Copenhagen Light Festival, the Lichtfestival Gent and the Light Move Festival.
Since 2009, she has also been working on animated and documentary films and studied documentary film directing at Filmarche Berlin from 2014 to 2017. In addition to international festival entries, she realises theatre projects, music performances and workshops with children, young people and adults.
