Constanze Sandmann was born in Halle/Saale, she attended the Special School of Music in Berlin, began her studies at the Academy of Music "Hanns Eisler" and moved to the Dresden Academy of Music to Prof. Unger. The state examination as a graduate musician was followed by postgraduate studies. Constanze Sandmann has been a member of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra since 1992. She is a member of the Dresdner Kapellsolisten, plays with the New Berlin Chamber Orchestra as well as the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra Dresden and pursues an active chamber music activity.
