Csaba Kelemen studied at the College of Music in Debrecen (Hungary) from 1986 to 1989 for a teaching degree and completed his Artist Diploma at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest in 1992. Since 1991 he has been the trumpet player of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
He was a member of the Philharmonic Brass Quintet Dresden for a long time and is active in the brass ensemble of the Dresden Philharmonic. In his home country he is a sought-after lecturer at master classes as well as a juror at competitions for trumpet.
