Florian Gamberger

Florian Gamberger was born in Mannheim in 1997. He received his first violin lessons at the Heinrich Schütz Conservatory in Dresden at the age of six and switched to Andreas Roth's horn class at the age of ten. He gained his first orchestral experience with the Saxony State Youth Orchestra and the Dresden Youth Symphony Orchestra, with which he also performed as a soloist on several occasions. From 2016, he had lessons with Dietrich Schlät (Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra) and graduated from the Dresden Conservatory a year later. In 2017, he began his studies with Professor Jörg Brückner at the Franz Liszt University of Music Weimar and became a member of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie in 2020. He has played with orchestras such as the Hofer Symphoniker, the Jena Philharmonic and the Meiningen State Theater and performed as a soloist with Stefan Dohr (Berlin Philharmonic) and the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie in 2023 with the concert piece for four horns by Robert Schumann. Since October 2023 he has been studying at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich with Professor Johannes Hinterholzer.
