Friedrich Müller

Friedrich Müller was born in Dresden in 1989 into a large musical family. Singing and making music together as well as playing regularly in the trombone choir shaped him from childhood. From the age of seven, he was one of the first pupils to receive lessons from Andreas Roth. Friedrich Müller completed his studies in Weimar, Berlin and Dresden with Jörg Brückner and Christian-Friedrich Dallmann.
Initially solo horn player with the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, later on temporary contracts with the Robert Schumann Philharmonie Chemnitz and the Gerhart Hauptmann Theater Görlitz, he has been 3rd/1st horn player with the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra since 2017 and is now also the happy father of three children.
Chamber music is a major focus for him: he won prizes with the canorusquintett at the ARD Competition in Munich and the Henri Tomasi Competition in Marseille
