Heiko Seifert

in the orchestra since 1988

Heiko Seifert comes from Dresden and attended the "Special School of Music" there. He received lessons from Prof. Schröter, from 1982 from Prof. Walter Hartwich (concertmaster of the Philharmonic Orchestra).

He studied at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden and had quartet lessons with Prof. Günter Siering (former concertmaster of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra).

From his 4th year of study Heiko Seifert was a substitute in the Philharmonic Orchestra, the following year he became a permanent member in the 2nd violins.

In 1988 he became a member of the 1st violins and was coordinated concertmaster of the 2nd violins from 1993 to 2012.
