She was born in Dresden in 2002 and received her first mandolin lessons at the age of five. Maja is now studying for a Bachelor of Music, majoring in mandolin, at the HfM Saar with Juan Carlos Muñoz.
Numerous master classes, for example with Avi Avital, have shaped her musical development, as have the various chamber music formations and orchestras in which Maja plays. She has already been concertmaster of the Bundesjugendzupforchester twice.
Maja is a multiple first prize winner at "Jugend musiziert" and was also able to convince at other national and international competitions. At the international Yasuo Kuwahara Competition, she was the youngest participant to reach the final round and received a special prize.
