Sitali Dewan grew up in London and Berlin. She was active for 10 years as a singer in the girls' choir of the Sing-Akademie zu Berlin and undertook concert tours to China and Iceland, among other places. Interdisciplinary projects as well as collaborations with the Staats- und Domchor Berlin under Kai-Uwe Jirka and Claudio Abbado had a great impact on her. Since 2018, she has taken on project tasks as choir director and voice coach with the Girls' Choir of the Sing-Akademie.
She is studying school music with a major in voice at the Dresden University of Music with additional concentrations in orchestral conducting and rhythm (movement). In 2021 she gave music lessons and voice training at Kampala International School Uganda and worked with children orchestras in Madrid. She recorded Indian mantras at the Studio for Electronic Music at the Dresden University of Music and did yoga training in India in 2022. She holds a teaching position for voice training with the Dresden Kapellknaben and has been conducting the vocal basic level of the Philharmonic Children's Choir Dresden since January 2023.
