Victor Meister studied at the Academy of Music "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin with Prof. Josef Schwab. He received chamber music training in the master class of Prof. Eberhard Feltz. In 1995 he was a prize winner of the International Mozarteum Competition in Salzburg. Numerous international master classes completed his education, which he finished in 1999 with the passing of the concert exam ("passed with distinction"). Since August 1999 he has been working as deputy principal cellist in the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
