Yining Bian

Clarinet

Yining Bian was born in 2000 in Shenyang, Liaoning (China). At the
she received her first clarinet lessons in her hometown at the age of eleven.

Chongqing Music Festival and the gold medal at the China-South Korea International Exchange Competition in the same year.

From 2018 to 2022, she studied with Prof. Joachim
Klemm in the Bachelor and from 2022 in the Master at the Hochschule für
Music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. In the same year she won
second prize at the Elite Musicians Online International
Competition in chamber music. She participated in master classes with Martin Spangenberg, Sebastian Manz, Luiji Magistrelli, Manuel Jódar Siles and Francois Benda. She gained orchestral experience as a substitute in the Dresden Young Symphony Orchestra and from October 2022 she will be a substitute at the Dresden State Operetta.

Since the season 2023/24 she is a member of the Kurt Masur Orchestra Academy of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra and continues her studies at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden with Prof. Henry Philipp and solo clarinettist Daniel Hochstöger.
