Violist Yuju Lai was born in Taipei. She completed her Bachelor studies with Prof. Yi-Wen Chao in Taipei at the National University of the Arts. In 2015, she began her master's studies in Weimar with Prof. Erich Krüger and Prof. Ditte Leser. Since 2018 she is a member of Kurt Masur Academy of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
