- Assistant Principal Bass Trombone (Permanent) | Application deadline: 17 August 2025, Auditions: 30 September 2025.

- 2nd Violin (tutti) (Permanent) | Application deadline: 17 August 2025, Pre-Auditions and Auditions: 26 September 2025.

- Principal E-flat Clarinet (German system, permanent) | Application deadline: 7 September 2025, Auditions: 13 & 14 October 2025.

Kurt Masur Academy

The training takes place in cooperation with the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber Dresden in a four-semester, advanced master's programme with a focus on orchestral practice. Training salary 1.100 € (gross) per month, orchestral studies and up to 16 orchestral practical exercises per month with the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
