About the Concert

Sometimes a musician's career begins with a film. That was the case with Colin Pütz, when a large public got to know him as the eight-year-old Beethoven in the ARD film of the same name for the Beethoven Year 2020. Today he is sixteen and still delights audiences with his youthful freshness and, above all, his enormous musicality. In the meantime he has won numerous prizes and Cristian Măcelaru has invited him to play in our concert - this time not Beethoven, but the wonderful Piano Concerto No. 24 by Mozart. Dvořák's symphonies are so popular not least because of their typically Bohemian "sound." In his Sixth, he pulls out all the stops in this respect and brings the sound of his Bohemian homeland into the concert hall.
