The program includes the so-called "Unfinished" Symphony by Franz Schubert, a masterpiece of Romanticism, which our First Guest Conductor Tabita Berglund will be working on with the orchestra.

Tabita Berglund

Principal Guest Conductor 25/26

The Norwegian conductor Tabita Berglund is acclaimed for her "exceptional music-making" (The Arts Desk) and captivates audiences with her charismatic and inspiring style and a wide-ranging repertoire that includes many works by Nordic composers. In August 2027, she will become Chief Conductor of the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra; from summer 2026, she will already be serving as its Chief Conductor-designate. She is also Principal Guest Conductor of the Dresden Philharmonic and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
