About the Concert
Johannes Brahms was a special composer. In the last years of his life, he wore a very distinctive full beard; in his dealings with others, he was often shy, but sometimes downright gnarly. Above all, however, he was extremely critical of himself and his music. Brahms never had an easy time composing - especially when it came to a symphony. Together with Phili, we will therefore go in search of traces in Vienna's cafés and through the Thuringian Forest. And Malte will show how you can knit a theme, a melody, an entire movement from just a few notes. Because Brahms was a true master at that!
