About the Concert

Tickets for this event will be available from 12.06.2024 from 10 am.

Unplayable? In fact, 150 years ago, the best violinists said that Tchaikovsky's newly composed violin concerto was far too difficult and could not be played. When someone did dare to play it, the piece was virtually savaged by the critics. It's hard to believe when you hear it today in the concert hall with all its beauty and brilliance. Here, it is played by artist in residence Augustin Hadelich, who makes even the most difficult passages seem as if they could be played with ease. Anyone who is not yet in an upbeat mood will get into the Christmas spirit with Tchaikovsky's ballet music "The Nutcracker" and immerse themselves in happy memories of childhood, the scent of Christmas and candlelight
