Terms and Conditions of Participation for the “Taiwan Prize Draw”
1. Organizer
The organizer of the prize draw is the City of Dresden – Dresdner Philharmonie, Schloßstraße 2, 01067 Dresden, Germany. The Dresdner Philharmonie is an institution of the City of Dresden.
2. Participation
Participation in the prize draw is free of charge.
To participate, entrants must provide the consent requested on the prize draw page and then complete and submit the prize draw form on this website. Participation via other channels is not possible.
The closing date for participation is Sunday, October 18, 2026. Entries received after this date cannot be considered.
Employees of the Dresdner Philharmonie and persons directly involved in the conception and administration of the prize draw are excluded from participation.
Only one entry per person is permitted.
3. Consent to Receive Information by Email
Participation is conditional upon consent to the Dresdner Philharmonie using the email address provided for participation to inform entrants in the future about events and offers of the Dresdner Philharmonie.
Consent is actively given on the prize draw page before participation. It may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. A subsequent withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal and does not affect an entry that has already been submitted.
The email address is processed for this purpose on the basis of the consent given in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. The consent also covers the sending of advertising by electronic mail in accordance with Section 7(2) No. 2 of the German Act Against Unfair Competition (UWG).
4. Prize
Among all valid entries, 2 × 2 tickets for the concert by the Taiwan Philharmonic Orchestra on March 23, 2027 at 7:30 p.m. at the Kulturpalast Dresden will be awarded.
After the participation period has ended, the winners will be selected at random from all valid entries and notified via the email address provided when entering the prize draw.
The prize cannot be paid out in cash or exchanged. The prize is non-transferable unless the Dresdner Philharmonie agrees otherwise in an individual case.
5. Data Protection
Personal data will be processed for the purpose of administering the prize draw, recording entries, selecting and notifying the winners and – in accordance with the consent given – providing future information by email about events and offers of the Dresdner Philharmonie.
Consent to the use of the email address for promotional purposes may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Following withdrawal, the email address will no longer be used for this purpose on the basis of this consent. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Further information about the processing of personal data and the rights of data subjects can be found in the Dresdner Philharmonie Privacy Policy.
6. Early Termination and Exclusion
The Dresdner Philharmonie reserves the right to amend, cancel or terminate the prize draw early for good cause if its proper administration can no longer be guaranteed.
Entrants may be excluded from the prize draw in the event of attempted manipulation, false information or breaches of these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
7. Legal Recourse
Legal recourse regarding the administration of the prize draw and the selection of the winners is excluded.
