Adelle Eslinger-Runnicles

Adelle Eslinger is a native of Canada who enjoyed a distinguished career at the San Francisco Opera from 1994 until 2011. Now a resident of Berlin, she is a regular guest répétiteur at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Additionally, she has been a coach and music staff member for the Salzburg Festival, Washington National Opera, the Canadian Opera Company, Opera Pacific, New Orleans Opera and San Diego Opera.

 

Her work at the San Francisco Opera included world premieres such as Conrad Susa’s "The Dangerous Liaisons", Jake Heggie’s "Dead Man Walking", "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Sir André Previn and "Doctor Atomic" by John Adams. She has also worked with the San Francisco Symphony in preparing semi-staged productions of John Adams’ "El Niño" and "A Flowering Tree", and with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin in preparing Hindemith’s "Sancta Susanna", "Tristan und Isolde", "The Messiah" and "Suor Angelica".

 

Since 2006, she has been active as a chamber musician and orchestral keyboardist at the Grand Teton Music Festival in addition to curating the chamber music series.

 

Adelle Eslinger received a Bachelor of Music degree from Brandon University and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Accompanying and Chamber Music from the University of Michigan.
