Alexander Teichmann attended the Special School of Music in Dresden (I. Brinkmann), studied in Dresden (H. Rudolf) and Berlin (S. Picard), was a scholarship holder at the Bayreuth Festival in 1990, went to the Wiesbaden State Theater in 1995, and has been a member of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra since 1996. He is active in various Dresden chamber ensembles and orchestras (Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Dresden String Quintet, Dresden Symphony Orchestra).
