Deborah Kadenbach

Deborah Kadenbach (formerly Jungnickel) was born in Dresden and received her first violin lessons at the age of three. Shortly thereafter, she was accepted into the children's class at the Saxon State High School of Music, where she received external instruction from 1999 to 2008. She began her violin studies in 2008 at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt in Weimar with Friedemann Eichhorn, deepened them with Eszter Haffner at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, before graduating with an excellent diploma in Weimar in 2014.
Already during her studies she was a substitute at the Staatskapelle Weimar. She was able to deepen her orchestral experience in the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra as well as in the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Her education was supported by scholarships from Villa Musica Rheinland Pfalz, the Dr. Robert and Lina Thyll-Dürr Foundation and Live Music now! (Yehudi Menuhin). In 2014 she received a temporary contract as deputy concertmaster of the Staatskapelle Weimar. Since September 2015 she is a member of the 1st violins in the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.
