There is always something special in the morning concerts, which are free of charge for school classes: The Dresdner Philharmonie and the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra perform famous works of orchestral literature in moderated concerts for all grades. Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" and Prokoffiev's "Peter and the Wolf" are among them, as are Ludwig van Beethoven's 5th Symphony, Antonio Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and the classic among orchestra guides for young people: Benjamin Britten's "The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra". The Philharmonic Children's Choir and the Orchestra of the Saxon State High School of Music will enrich the program with their own programs. In addition, the new concert organ with all its stops and sounds will be heard in a joint concert of the Dresden Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Heinrich Schütz Conservatory reinforced by members of the Dresdner Philharmonie.
