3.1 Price Categories | Seating Areas
Different price categories apply to concerts of the Dresden Philharmonic. The allocation of a concert to the individual price categories, special prices, etc. is published in the relevant concert overview and on the Dresden Philharmonic website.
3.2 Discounts
3.2.1 General
Concerts for which discounts are granted are announced in the relevant concert overview, at the Ticket Service and on the Dresden Philharmonic website. The group of persons entitled to discounts is also published there. Proof of entitlement to a discount must be provided before purchasing the ticket and must be presented without request at admission. No discount will be granted after tickets have been purchased. A maximum of one discount is granted per ticket. Discounted tickets may only be passed on to persons with the same entitlement to a discount.
3.2.1 PhilCard from the 2025/26 Season
The PhilCard can be purchased for €25 and is issued personally to the holder. It grants a 10% discount on the regular price for up to two tickets per concert, subject to availability. The offer applies to concerts of the Dresden Philharmonic, excluding New Year concerts, special concerts, family concerts and organ concerts. It can be redeemed in the webshop and at the Ticket Service.
The PhilCard is personal and non-transferable. Ticket returns and exchanges are excluded.
3.3 Third-Party Providers
The Dresden Philharmonic shall not be liable to visitors for prices charged by other ticket providers, such as tour operators and online portals, for original Dresden Philharmonic tickets.
3.4 Services Not Included
Programme booklets, parking fees and other services that are not directly part of the concert are not included in the ticket price.
4.1 Advance Sales
The start of advance ticket sales at the Ticket Service, online and at the known advance booking offices is usually announced with the publication of the season brochure for the upcoming concert season. Our advance booking partners are entitled to charge a service fee. The Dresden Philharmonic points out that the availability of tickets for general advance sale may be limited due to fixed subscriptions and flexible subscriptions.
4.2 Online Ticket Purchases
In the Dresden Philharmonic webshop, tickets can be purchased at the regular price, for school pupils and young people under 30, severely disabled persons from a degree of disability (GdB) of 80 and holders of a Dresden Pass. Other discounted tickets as well as wheelchair and companion seats can only be purchased through the Dresden Philharmonic Ticket Service. Payment in the webshop is possible by credit card, PayPal and vouchers purchased from the Dresden Philharmonic.
Tickets can only be purchased in the webshop by providing customer and address data.
4.3 In special situations, such as pandemic-related developments, it may be stipulated that tickets can only be booked by providing contact details. In such cases, each visitor must be registered by name when purchasing a ticket and necessary contact details (telephone number or email address) must be provided. Accordingly, tickets may only be transferred to other persons after consultation with the Visitor Service and after new tickets have been issued.
5.1 Written Ticket Orders
Ticket orders within a season may be submitted in writing by post or email. Ticket orders for the upcoming concert season, or for an upcoming start of advance sales, will be accepted and processed from the announced start of advance sales.
If ticket requests cannot be fulfilled, the purchaser will receive a corresponding written notification. If the requested tickets or suitable alternative tickets are available, the purchaser will receive written confirmation in the form of an invoice including information on the price, including shipping fee, payment method and reservation deadline.
5.2 New Year Concerts
Sales for the New Year concerts begin with the general season sales launch. Written reservations will not be accepted in advance.
5.3 Telephone Orders
Telephone orders within a season are possible during the published telephone availability hours of the Ticket Service. If the requested tickets are available, the purchaser will be informed by telephone of the price and a customer number, as well as the reservation deadline within which the tickets will be held for collection or, after receipt of payment, sent by post for an additional charge.
5.4 Group Orders
Group orders of 10 tickets or more are generally accepted only in writing. Group discounts are not available.
For tour operators, the separately published “Special Terms and Conditions for Tour Operators” shall apply in addition.
5.5 Invoice
Ordered tickets will be sent after payment of the invoice issued in advance. The total processing and shipping fee is €2.50 for up to 6 tickets, €5.00 for up to 15 tickets and €10.00 for 16 tickets or more.
5.6 Reservations
The reservation period is generally two weeks from the time the reservation is entered. A fee of €1.50 is charged for the collection of tickets at the event or evening box office from 60 minutes before the start of the event.
5.7 Cancellation of an Order
The customer may cancel the reservation in writing or by telephone within the reservation period communicated to them.
5.8 Ticket Collection
In special cases, tickets held at the evening box office must be collected no later than 30 minutes before the start of the concert. The Dresden Philharmonic may release tickets that have not been collected in time.
5.9 Vouchers
Gift vouchers of any value are available from the Ticket Service on site and in the Dresden Philharmonic webshop. They can be redeemed until 31 December of the third calendar year after the date of issue for events of the Dresden Philharmonic. Only vouchers purchased from the Dresden Philharmonic are accepted. Remaining balances when redeeming vouchers will be refunded in the form of a new voucher. Cash payment is not possible.
5.10 Shipping
If the Dresden Philharmonic sends tickets or vouchers to the purchaser at the purchaser’s request, the purchaser bears the shipping risk. In this case, as well as in the event of the loss of a ticket or voucher by the holder, the Dresden Philharmonic is not obliged to provide replacements.
5.11 Payments
Tickets, subscriptions, merchandise and vouchers may be paid for by debit card, credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. Payments must be made exclusively in euros. The purchaser must check the correctness of the payment immediately upon receipt. Subsequent complaints cannot be accepted.
5.12 Price Changes
The Dresden Philharmonic reserves the right to make price changes, processing fees and price surcharges within the framework of the fee regulations applicable through the City of Dresden.
6.1 Returns and Exchanges
Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged unless they were purchased including the FLEX option.
6.1.1 FLEX Option for Ticket Exchanges
Individual tickets at the regular price, for school pupils, young people under 30, severely disabled persons from GdB 80 and holders of a Dresden Pass can be booked with a FLEX option. This results in a surcharge of €6 per ticket. This fee enables the concert ticket to be exchanged once up to 3 working days before the concert date for another concert in the same concert series. Tickets can be exchanged via the sales channel through which they were booked: for online bookings, guests exchange the tickets via their personal access in the webshop (Webshop/Login/My Concerts/Rebook Date Directly). For bookings made through the Ticket Service, tickets are rebooked exclusively through the Ticket Service.
If the ticket is exchanged for a more expensive seat, the price difference must be paid. Exchanging for a lower price category does not entitle the customer to payment or credit of the difference. There is no entitlement to exchange tickets; exchanges are only possible subject to availability. A refund of concert tickets in cash or as a voucher is not possible.
The FLEX fee remains with the organiser in the event of an exchange.
6.2 Loss
The Dresden Philharmonic is generally not obliged to issue replacement tickets. In the event of ticket loss, a duplicate ticket will only be issued if the person concerned can prove or credibly demonstrate which ticket they purchased. A fee of €2.00 per ticket is charged for issuing duplicate tickets. In this case, the original ticket loses its validity. The same applies to the printing of a hard ticket that had previously been issued as a digital ticket.
6.3 Cancellation | Abandonment of a Concert
If a concert is cancelled or finally abandoned within the first half hour, the ticket price will be refunded, except where this is caused by force majeure; in that case, there is no entitlement to reimbursement of costs.
The claim must be proven by presenting or submitting the ticket and must be asserted at the Dresden Philharmonic Ticket Service within 10 days after the concert date. No refund can be made after this period. Further expenses incurred by the visitor will not be reimbursed.
7.1 Commercial Resale
Public and commercial resale of tickets is prohibited. This does not apply to purchasers whose business operations also include the resale or brokerage of tickets or whose statutes provide for the passing on or brokerage of tickets to members or other groups of persons.
7.2 Wheelchair Spaces, Use of Rollators
Separate designated wheelchair spaces are available for wheelchair users and their companions. For safety reasons, visitors with walking impairments using rollators are asked to choose seats in the stalls and in the 1st balcony in sections H and N when attending a concert in the concert hall at the Kulturpalast. Rollators must be handed over to the service staff at the entrance to the hall; they may not be taken into the hall. Liability of the Dresden Philharmonic for loss of or damage to rollators is also excluded.
7.3 Seats
The visitor is entitled to the seat printed on their valid ticket for the relevant event. In exceptional cases, service staff may reassign seats for good cause.
7.4 Admission
Upon admission to the concert hall, the ticket must be presented without request, together with proof of entitlement to a discount if applicable. Depending on the applicable regulations, proof of recovery, testing or vaccination may also have to be presented. If this proof is not available, the visitor may not be admitted. Visitors arriving late cannot be admitted during a concert section out of consideration for the artists and the audience. Admission after the start of the concert is only possible during the interval, if provided for in the programme.
7.5 Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer, meaning a natural person who places the order for a purpose that cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity, you have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the statutory provisions.
The right of withdrawal applies to purchase contracts for goods, such as vouchers and merchandise, concluded under distance selling rules by telephone or online. This right does not apply to contracts for services in the leisure sector where a fixed date is provided for the performance of the services, such as admission tickets.
7.5.1 Instructions on Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from a purchase contract concluded under distance selling rules by telephone or online within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform the provider (Dresden Philharmonic) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration, for example a letter sent by post, fax or email. If you make use of this option, we will promptly send you, for example by email, confirmation of receipt of such withdrawal. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
The withdrawal must be addressed to:
Dresdner Philharmonie | Schloßstr. 2 | 01067 Dresden
Telephone: 0351 – 4866 282
Fax: 0351 – 4866 353
Email: ticket@dresdnerphilharmonie.de
7.5.2 Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the purchase contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs, except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement. We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier. You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period expires.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that was not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.
7.6 Exclusion of Liability
The Dresden Philharmonic assumes no liability for damage incurred by visitors as a result of non-compliance with instructions given by service staff, the house rules or the provisions of these General Terms and Conditions.
7.7 Warranty
No guarantee is given for information in publications of the Dresden Philharmonic. The current concert programmes and start times are announced at the Dresden Philharmonic Ticket Service and on the website. Changes are reserved.
7.8 Private Resale
Offering and selling concert tickets by visitors and third parties in the premises of the venues and directly in front of their entrances is not permitted.
8.1 Subscription
8.1.1 Payment Method | Ticket Shipping
Subscribers generally receive the offer for their subscription for the upcoming concert season when the season brochure is published. The price must be paid in one sum after receipt of the invoice and within the payment period stated on the invoice. Payment is possible by direct debit, exclusively for fixed subscriptions, by bank transfer, voucher, existing customer credit and on site by credit card, VISA or debit card.
The subscription tickets are sent after receipt of payment.
8.1.2 Change Requests
A change of subscription and/or seat is only possible for the new concert season, subject to availability and before payment of the invoice. Written requests may be submitted in advance.
8.1.3 Cancellation
The subscription is concluded for one concert season and is automatically renewed, with the exception of flexible subscriptions, unless a written cancellation is received by the Dresden Philharmonic by 30 March in due time. Cancellation is only possible at the end of the current concert season, regardless of whether a new subscription offer has been received.
8.1.4 Customer Card
Holders of a fixed subscription or a flexible subscription receive a customer card.
8.1.5 Data Protection
When a subscription is concluded, personal data (first name, surname, address and, where applicable, telephone number and email address) is recorded. The Dresden Philharmonic uses this data for sending subscription offers, invoices, concert announcements, such as the season brochure, and exclusive offers for subscribers. Data is passed on to third parties solely in accordance with Art. 28 EU GDPR for the purpose of sending the above-mentioned materials.
The data is automatically deleted after expiry of the statutory obligations (section 275 German Commercial Code, HGB).
8.2 Flexible Subscriptions from 2025/26
8.2.1 The Dresden Philharmonic flexible subscriptions allow the selection of at least three and up to a maximum of 10 concerts per concert series. Subject to availability, the price categories and the seat for the individual concerts are variable when purchased. The same number of seats must be booked for each concert. Detailed explanations of the flexible subscriptions can be found in the current season brochure and on the Dresden Philharmonic website.
Tickets cannot be returned or concert dates exchanged after purchase.
8.2.2 Entitlement
There is no entitlement to a specific seat or a specific seating area.
8.2.3 Validity
Each flexible subscription is valid within one concert season. The subscription ends automatically after the last booked concert and cannot be extended after purchase. Several flexible subscriptions may be concluded per season.
8.2.4 Payment
The flexible subscription must be paid in one sum at the time of booking.
8.2.5 Data Protection
When a flexible subscription is concluded, personal data (first name, surname, address and, where applicable, telephone number and email address) is recorded. The Dresden Philharmonic uses this data for sending subscription offers, invoices, the Philharmonische Blätter, the annual season brochure and exclusive offers for subscribers. Data is passed on to third parties solely in accordance with Art. 28 EU GDPR for the purpose of sending the above-mentioned materials.
The data is automatically deleted after expiry of the statutory obligations (section 275 German Commercial Code, HGB).
8.3 Other Provisions for Subscriptions | Flexible Subscriptions
8.3.1 Fee
No separate processing fee is charged.
8.3.2 Resale Not Permitted
Subscription and flexible subscription tickets are not transferable to other persons. Public and commercial resale of concert tickets from a fixed subscription or a flexible subscription is not permitted.
8.3.3.1 Returns and Exchanges from a Fixed Subscription
Tickets for individual concert dates within a fixed subscription may be exchanged for a maximum of three concerts in the same concert series and price category within one season upon presentation of the tickets to be exchanged and subject to availability. The exchange is possible after payment of the subscription.
If the ticket is exchanged for a more expensive seat, the price difference must be paid. Exchanging for a lower price category does not entitle the subscriber to payment or credit of the difference. There is no entitlement to exchange tickets.
For further exchange requests, the subscriber must pay the difference to the regular ticket price (full price) in addition to the exchange fee; no payment will be made.
Programme and cast changes are reserved and do not entitle the subscriber to return or exchange tickets. Personal notification is generally not provided.
8.3.3.2 Returns and Exchanges from a Flexible Subscription
Ticket returns and exchanges of tickets from a flexible subscription are not permitted from the 2025/26 season.
8.3.4 Duplicate
If the holder of a subscription or flexible subscription loses their ticket, a duplicate will be issued upon presentation of the subscription customer card for a fee of €2.00 per concert ticket. In this case, the original ticket loses its validity.
8.3.5 Subscription or Flexible Subscription Price
The subscription or flexible subscription price is determined by the price category of the subscribed seat printed in the relevant season brochure. Where persons entitled to discounts claim discounts in connection with a subscription or flexible subscription, these are only granted if corresponding proof is provided when the contract is concluded or continued.
8.3.6 Notification Obligations of the Holder of a Subscription or Flexible Subscription
The holder of a subscription or flexible subscription is obliged to notify the Dresden Philharmonic Ticket Service immediately of any changes to their name, address and, where applicable, email address and telephone number.
Holders of a subscription or flexible subscription who claim discounts must notify the Dresden Philharmonic Ticket Service of any changes in the circumstances giving rise to the discount without being asked and without undue delay. If necessary, the Dresden Philharmonic is entitled to inspect the proof of entitlement to the discount again. If the holder of a subscription or flexible subscription cannot provide valid proof of entitlement to a discount, the holder must immediately pay the difference to the non-discounted price.
8.3.7 Changes
The Dresden Philharmonic reserves the right to amend the subscription or flexible subscription terms for the respective upcoming concert season. Corresponding changes will be communicated to the holder of the subscription or flexible subscription in good time before the next concert season.
8.3.8 Scope
The individual types of subscription or flexible subscription are described in more detail in the relevant season brochure and on the Dresden Philharmonic website.
The personal order data is collected, processed, stored and used in compliance with data protection law to the extent necessary for initiating and performing the contract. In this context, the Dresden Philharmonic also uses the data for customer service purposes and may inform customers about further offers of the Dresden Philharmonic. Data is passed on to commissioned third parties in accordance with Art. 28 EU GDPR and only insofar as this is necessary for performance of the contract.

10.1 At events of the Dresden Philharmonic, cloakroom items can be handed in free of charge in the foyer to the cloakroom staff. The visitor receives a cloakroom token for this purpose.
Taking food and drinks, coats, thick jackets, umbrellas, backpacks, sticks (except walking aids), large luggage, bags larger than A4 and bulky items as well as animals (except service and guide dogs, subject to prior registration) into the concert hall is prohibited.
The rollator serves as a walking aid for the guest up to their seat and is placed outside the hall by service staff and returned to the guest immediately after the concert ends or at the beginning of the interval. The rollator may not remain in the hall during the event.
10.2 Upon issuing the cloakroom token, the Dresden Philharmonic assumes liability for intentional or grossly negligent breach of the duty of safekeeping by the cloakroom staff. Any further liability is excluded. Liability for items deposited in the cloakroom is limited to the current value of the deposited items up to a maximum amount of €150.00 per cloakroom token.
Items and cash contained in deposited objects are not covered by this liability. These items are deposited and stored at the visitor’s own risk.
10.3 The cloakroom staff hand out the cloakroom items or other objects upon presentation of the cloakroom token without checking entitlement. If the cloakroom token is lost, the guest must pay a fee of €5.00.
10.4 Loss of or damage to deposited cloakroom items or other objects must be reported to the cloakroom staff without delay.
10.5 The Dresden Philharmonic assumes no liability for cloakroom items that concert visitors store in lockers.
Mobile phones and other electronic communication and information devices as well as acoustic signalling devices of any kind must be switched off in the auditorium.
In the interest of other visitors and the uninterrupted course of the concerts, the Dresden Philharmonic is entitled, in the event of violations, to require the surrender of the communication or information device or the recording in an appropriate manner, to delete the latter and, where applicable, to ask the visitor to leave the concert.
Liability for confiscated and stored objects exists only insofar as the duty of safekeeping is breached intentionally or by gross negligence. If the visitor is removed from the concert, the removed visitor has no claim for damages with regard to the ticket price or other costs connected with the concert.
Image and sound recordings of any kind by visitors during the concert are generally prohibited. Violations give rise to claims for damages by the Dresden Philharmonic.
In the case of authorised television recordings, image, sound or film recordings of selected concerts, the visitor agrees that recordings made of them during or in connection with the concert may be used without remuneration within the scope of customary exploitation.
12.1 Objects of any kind found during Dresden Philharmonic concerts in one of the venues must be handed over to the service staff without delay.
12.2 The loss of objects must be reported to the service staff without delay.

Visitors may be removed from the concert if they disturb it or harass other visitors or service staff.
The instructions of service staff must be followed. If a visitor is removed from the concert or premises, the removed visitor has no claim for damages with regard to the ticket price or other costs connected with the concert.
In the event of fire or other emergency situations, visitors must leave the venue immediately and directly via the marked exits and emergency exits to the assembly point. Cloakroom items will not be handed out in such cases. The instructions of service staff or other persons commissioned by the Dresden Philharmonic must be followed without exception.
These Terms and Conditions enter into force with immediate effect and remain valid until revoked. At the same time, the previous Terms and Conditions cease to apply.
